First pit stop of our March 19, 2018 road trip. Beautiful gardens.The tourist center was still closed. Too bad we didn't see the water features they were talking about because it was cold and rainy when we got there for toilet break. Public toilets behind the tourist center. Ample parking space and also accessible parking for people with mobility problems.
Lovely rest stop along the road. Not just information on surrounding area but a site of historical interest in itself. Throw in a cafe and garden and sort walks - very nice.
Visited Stirling's Cottage today for lunch - couldn't decide what to eat as there was a lot of choice. We wanted to know about the Internment Camp that was near here (Harvey, WA) and the lady in the Visitor Centre had all that information in her head. It was a lovely spot. The gardens were peaceful and well-maintained.
